Christmas Pickle Ornament

The Christmas pickle is a lesser-known Christmas tradition for Americans. A Christmas tree decoration in the shape of a pickle is hidden on a Christmas tree on Christmas Eve after the kiddos go to bed. Traditionally, on Christmas morning, the first person to find the pickle on the tree receives an extra present, good fortune in the new year, or just the joy of finding the pickle.
