    Pomona's Universal Pectin makes thick jam and jelly with rich flavor undiluted by large amounts of added sugar. Regular fruit pectin requires your jam and jells to be 55-85% sugar to set firmly. Pomona's is pure citrus pectin with no dextrose or preservatives. It's jelling power is activated by calcium (included in the box), not by sugar content. Now you're free to make cooked jam and jelly and freezer jam sweetened to your taste with any type of sugar, honey, agave or any other sweetener.
