Fermentation Heater Belt

    Our Fermentation Heater Belt will fit around small and large vessels to keep your Kombucha, Yogurt, Kefir or other ferments warm while their fermenting. Based on vessel size and how tight you adjust the mat it will raise the ambient tempertaure  5° and 20° F over ambient temperature. Monitor your brew’s temperature by adhering the included adhesive thermometer to the side of the brew vessel and adjust the mat as needed to reduce heat.

    Note: Kombucha prefers the warmer temperature range of 75-90f, while Milk or Water Kefir prefers a range of 65-75f. Yogurt needs to ferment initially at 105-110f and you can use the belt to help maintain warm temperature by combining in an insulated cooler or metal pot (for better heat conduction).   • How to Use

    Stretch and place the O-Ring band around the belt over the front of the belt. Adjust it so the belt is tight around the fermenting vessel you’re using. If your vessel is extremely wide, you can eliminate the O-Ring band and use the entire belt by tightening the end near the cord. Adjust the height of the belt on your vessel above or below or in-between the contents to maintain the desired temperature. You'll need to monitor your vessel and adjust accordingly
