This is a hands-on workshop. Learn the magic (and the maintenance!) of heirloom sourdough starters alongside an introductory lesson in the art of sourdough bread baking.

About the Event
In this hands-on workshop, we'll discuss techniques, maintenance and troubleshooting for your sourdough starters. Then we'll get hands-on making a loaf for everyone to take home! Students will receive our 10 year-old heirloom sourdough starter along with a Proofing Basket and Tea Towel to take home their class-made bread dough! Take note, students will need to bake their bread the following morning!
This workshop is taught by Elizabeth Vecchiarelli, owner and founder of Preserved. She brings over 15 years of experience with local, sustainable, fermented and handmade food to her teaching.
All students will receive a 10% discount on post-workshop purchases in our store. The minimum age for our workshops is 14 years old.
