MAKING KOJI - 2 PART WORKSHOP
Learn the art of growing your own koji on rice in this 2-part class. Koji is the magical fungi that creates the dynamic umami flavors found in miso, shoyu (soy sauce), sake and more!

About the Event
Students will make their own koji from start to finish in this 2-part class. If you sign up for this class you must come to both dates!
Part one is Tuesday night 1/28 from 6:30-8:30pm
Part two is Thursday night 1/30 from 6:30-8:00pm
Students will also get to make Shio Koji, an umami-rich universal marinade for each student to take home.
All students will receive a 10% discount on post-workshop purchases in our store. The minimum age for our workshops is 14 years old.
