As part of this hands-on workshop, students will be provided with a stone, a knife and a compound loaded strop that we will be learning on as a group.  Students are encouraged to bring their favorite kitchen knife to apply their new skills during the later part of the hands-on class. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes.  We will be working with abrasives and any jewelry, watches etc worn on the hands could be scraped up if worn during the hands on class. This class is led by Jimmy Monaco, a passionate freehand sharpener of 25 years. 

All students will receive a 10% discount on post-workshop purchases in our store. The minimum age for our workshops is 14 years old.
