About the Event
In this hands-on workshop we will learn how to make and blend botanical extracts (alcohol and glycerine based) to create bitters that are both delicious and helpful to the digestive system. We will also craft shrubs from seasonal fruit, perfect for adding bright notes to mixed drinks, but also to salad dressings, marinades and other culinary applications.
Workshop participants will take away a custom bitters blend and a shrub-in-progress to macerate and strain at home.
This class is led by fermentation educator, gardener and clinical herbalist Helena del Pesco.

The minimum age for this workshops is 21 years old.
