Since the olive fruit is so valuable, the tree is rarely harvested for its wood. Carre sources it's wood from centenary olive trees that are no longer used in production.

 

Simply slide open the magnetic lid and add a pinch of salt to your cooking. To prevent moisture from dampening the salt, make sure the lid is closed after you're done. The natural wood absorbs escess moisture as well during storage.
