About the Event

ABOUT THE MAKER

After a 26 year career with the Oakland Fire Department, Ron Carter began beekeeping as a hobby. However in 2016 he transformed his passion for beekeeping into a commercial operation.  Oakland Honey Company was created with the mission to provide locally sourced, natural raw honey. Learn all about local beekeeping and the importance that honey bees play in our daily lives. There will be a sample tasting, and an opportunity for Q & A and a lively discussion!
