Learn the art of making your own probiotic, nutrient-dense fermented veggies at home!
This workshop begins with a LECTURE on the history, nutritive value and simple technique of fermenting vegetables. We will TASTE an assortment of fermented vegetables including sauerkraut, kimchi and various mixed pickles. Then, students will get HANDS-ON making a batch of fermented veggies, customizing their own jar with different veggies and spices to TAKE HOME to ferment.
Led by shop owner and DIY enthusiast, Elizabeth Vecchiarelli.

The minimum age for our workshops is 14 years old.
